How long is the cooling fan spacer on the '66 GT-350 and is it different from the 66 Mustang? Pics would be great!

I have heard 1 3/4", 2 1/2", 2.36". I have also heard they are a different shape than the regular Mustang.

I figure you guys would know the real deal, and Jimbo would probably have pics

    Any info would be appreciated,
    Thanks,
    Gary

As far as I know the fan spacer is 2.36" long, including the
    pilot button for 65 and 66 HiPo's and 2.74" for a 67.

From the info I have, I would have to agree on the 2.36" spacer. Part number is C3OZ-8546-A and is stamp marked C3OE-8546-A

    Ha!

The place to look is on any 63 galaxie V8 without air. At one time I had nearly ten of them. I gave them all away to guys with hipos and shelbys
(who had wrong ones on their cars) In the middle to late 70's nobody even knew what the right one was.
