I own a 1970 GT350 conv. In grabber blue. According to SAAC, it is One of One with these options. I found some paperwork in the car which relates to the 1970 NY Auto Show. I believe that this car was used at that show in the Ford Pavilion. I am looking for anyone that might have pictures of the Ford Section for the 1970 NYC Auto Show. I will glady pay a finders fee . Need this info for SAAC to update their records on this car. Thank you. Gino Lucci
Gino, I moved your post here, in order to keep posts relevant to each section. Good luck in your quest. Mike
FYI - Ken B. tells me you have a friend with a 65 that is looking for the same "hens teeth" wheels I am - I hope we don't end up competing for the same thing. Mike
Mike, I made some inqueries about those wheels, and I guess finding a needle in a hay stack might be easier..lol After 1 year of looking, I sort of gave up. Of the wheels I did find, they were on cars, and owners did not want to part with them.( I surely would not)...so I wish you luck in finding them, if I should run across 2 sets, I will be sure to let you know. Gino P.S. If these wheels might end up on E-bay, please let me know your on them, and I will give you that preference.
You might try this AMC guy, he has some NY Auto pictures on his website. http://www.planethoustonamx.com/press_photos/amc_press_photos.htm
