I know there's a new book on him, must be limited circulation, not in the regular Borders or Barnes & Noble outlets. He was Ford's in house hot rodder in his last few years at Ford, I remember he had a Boss 429 style Mustang engineering project car, and later the Super Stallion. He was mentioned a lot in connection with the Ford GT but then suddenly he left Ford. The Ford PR man told he--"he had 30 years in at Ford and decided to retire" but I was just wondering if there's a story about why he left--whether it had anything to do with the GT, which I think was a success, after all they sold over 4000 of them at full list price and for the first year above full list price.
I think it had something to do with the dismantling of SVT, which happened just before he left. David.
Here's the book on Amazon: Amazon.com: Iron Fist, Lead Foot: John Coletti and Ford's "Terminator": Books: Frank Moriarty Great reading about how the 03 SVT Cobras were developed and tested.
