    Hey guys,

I have the radiator and fan out of my KR. My car was originally a non-air car, dealer air was added a long time back. It's nice to have, the car is a driver so I am going to keep it.

Since it was non-air and is now air there is a mixture of correct and incorrect pulley's and belts.

Can anyone verify the correct pulley numbers and belt numbers for a KR air car?

I used the site below but I do not know if it is 100% accurate.

Bob, Pete?? Little help if you could or anyone for that matter.

They are correct but they show the C8AZ D AC smog pulley as having a C8OE B stamping. I show it to have a C8AE B stamping .

We had a lengthy discussion on the other site regarding the C8OE vs C8AE pulley...you could probably find it using the search function. My original KR has a C8AE but other original cars had the C8OE. As I recall the MPC was inconclusive, not actually showing a 428CJ application for 68. Either pulley will work, so I guess flip a coin as to what you think is "correct". The C8OE is just slightly smaller in diameter, and both occasionally show up on eBay.

I would agree either could be used, more toward the C8AE (which is the 390/428 pi pulley) used on earlier cars and the C8OE B on later. I was referring toward the fact that the C8OE B stamping doesn't coincide with the C8AZ D part #. Here's 2870, an early KR with the 5.89" C8AE pulley.

I did understand your point, TLEA, and that is interesting. I'm not sure why the 428cj site lists only the C8OE-B pulley for a '68 with a/c, because it would appear that the C8AE-B is at least as "documented"...I do remember there was considerable disagreement. If you're keeping track, my KR is 2389 and I'm near certain that the C8AE-B pulley is original...and that also follows your reasoning about early v late.
