new reproduction wheels vs originals

    I'm restoring a 69 gt350 convert and would like to know what the quality is of the new reproduction wheels vs having the originals restored. I'm in Canada and the shipping to have the original wheels restored and then sent back is quite costly.
    If I chose to have the originals restored which is the way I'm leaning, any recommendations?
    How are reproduction wheels viewed when it comes to judging, I believe there is a difference.

    Biggest Difference; ORIGINALITY --I'm pretty sure there are some owner's of 1969 original shelby's out there, that have repo wheels on their cars, that would give anything to have those originals , and I'm sure you'll be more proud when you get through restoring that car. To run a list of original options that you still have on your car. snakeman's (Leaning too)
