Hi can anyone tell me if valve covers that have Carrol Shelby written on them would have a part number stamped into them? I supposedly have an original set but cannot find any markings on them. They are for Windsor and are finned apparently off a 66 Shelby. Cheers.

1966 Shelby valave covers were for 302 engines only and said "COBRA". If you have valve covers with "Shelby" or "CS" covers they are aftermarket or over the counter parts. They have little value to most people.

Yes those are the covers I have, were they only available as an over the counter option ? and should they have part numbers on them?
