Ford used their in-house supplier "Carlite". Beware, if you want to get it correct, make sure you get glass with the correct period Carlite logo. Tinted or not, check what is on the marti report. Tinted glass was an extra cost option.
If you had air conditioning you were supposed to get tinted. No AC -clear. It wasn't like you could check a box and get what you wanted on a 67 Shelby the few options you could get were normally procured by dealers from cars that were ether already built or all ready in the pipeline getting ready to be built. This gave the illusion that a car was being built especially for you. I have heard more then one story of a original owner receiving his car and it not be the color or equipped the way he ordered it but took it anyway because he didn't want to wait. Bob
The way the glass was etch for the Carlite logo varied. They weren't all etched in the same direction. On the side and rear glass there is even varied locations of the logo. Bob
