    Hello everyone,

I have a question about the use of Koni shocks on the 1966 GT350. Did all of the 1966 cars come with them as I have always thought they did? The reason I ask is that I read on another website that some of the later cars didn't come with them. If that is true what did they come with?

As a side note, does anyone know of a paint, rattle can or otherwise, that is close to the color of the Koni shocks on the 1966's?

    Thanks

Thanks for the really quick response. I just always thought they all came with Koni's.

I knew I was forgetting something. I should have just did a search for the paint. I appreciate you checking that and posting it for me.

You are correct. To add to your response -The Koni's were discontinued after about the first 1/3 of 66 production in favor of the adjustable FOMOCO marked adjustable shocks.Gabriel was the OEM mfg. There is a G trademark logo on the shocks beside the more prominent FOMOCO and Ford engineering number. I believe the VIN was around 962 or there abouts according to factory docs. There would be a reasonable plus or minus on usage because although the cars were started in sequence they were not finished in sequence. Bob
