I got a REALLY good hint from a Ford SVT representative today, that anyone can get one of these.
If you plan on keeping and fully documenting your vehicle, this is the way to go!

    Shelby GT 500 Owners Certificate
    Cost is $45.00 USD.

There is also another certificate specifically from the SVT Team if you have a vehicle with the SVT.
    Ford Special Vehicle Team Certificate
    Cost is $40.00 USD.

I've looked into ordering online, I've got a 2011 Shelby Mustang GT500 w/ SVT PP and they don't list either as being available on their website... yet.

BUT... it was after their open hours, so I'll call them later on Monday. Let you all know.

You will have to wait until about june before the 2011 certs are available. All the 2011's have to be built and all the numbers get put in the computer.

You are welcome. I don't know if the 2011's have that ugly piece of plastic 12 volt power cap on the dash as my 09 did. If it does, go to www.mgwltd.com. He has a very nice replacement for that. It is a power plug with a cobra on it. Chrome or brushed aluminum. CJ pony parts and american muscle has gas hood struts and sequential tail lights if your 11 did not come with those items. Your car has a cabin air filter that needs changing every 15k or so. It is an easy do it yourself thing.
