I'm look to sell some 1968 GTCS/Shelby Fiberglass Parts. what reserve do I put on them ? These are off a 1968 GTCS. 1968 Shelby Convertible Trunk Lid 1968 Shelby Rear Taillight Panel 1968 Shelby Convertible End Cap (Right,Left) 1968 Shelby & GTCS Lower Side Scoop (Right,Left) Thank You
When you say "reserve", it becomes appearant that you intend to list them on an auction. Well, reserve is the minimum you will take, so, what is your minimum? And, since this is an enthusiast's website, you might want to offer them for sale here. And, geez, what part of the country are you in as you will need to crate up the stuff, unless you live within driving distance.
And you help me how$ Maybe you like to buy them for what I paid for them back in 1979. LOL Parts are in Canada, QUE I will just use use new reproduction parts price as a guide
You really need to reconsider shipping that decklid. If you really want to then get a good estimate what the shipping costs are and put in a FIXED shipping cost. There are two things that really help get the max price on ebay. (1) Free shipping on small items, (2) no reserve - just a starting bid. These are effective because (1) everybody is gun shy about getting screwed on shipping costs, and (2) they know if they bid they will get the part. I've sold a lot of things on ebay and trust me you will get a LOT more people interested if you go this route.
Harm, I am in the process of building a '68 GT/CS and will need all fiberglass pieces for the trunk and taillight panel. Curious to know what you have decided to do with these items and if you have a cost yet? Also cost estimate to ship to Texas, zip 76087? Thanks, Don (e-Mail address is dons350gt@msn.com)
