Quick check of SFM # - From Overseas

    Hello,

    Have come across a car listed as a 65 GT350 overseas with the following Shelby SN "SFM6S747", which to me points towards it actually being a 66 due to the 6 in the SN. :huh: It is currently in race-prep condition, and going for around $110k.

    Thanks for any info you can glean.

    According to the registry, SFM6S747 is indeed a RED 66 GT350 that was originally shipped to England and transferred to Switzerland early in life.

    You need to contact Howard Pardee @ www.saac.com and submit the FORD Vin#'s that are stamped into the inner Fenders under the Shelby tag and underneath the Car Fenders as they overlap and Hide them. that is your first step in verification.

    This one may indeed be the real-deal. Contacting the seller tomorrow, to see if their story matches the info from Howard Pardee which I received today, and your notes above. If all seems legit, will likely to take a peak at it in about two weeks. :p

    with Shelby cars, there generally is no such thing as waiting 2 weeks to go see as they tend to be SOLD!
