Has anyone seen the official colors for 2007? I read this article http://www.stangnet.com/2005-Mustang/2007-shelby-gt500-182006-5.html annd it mentions colors "Exterior colors include Colorado Red (which can be paired with Performance White or Satin Silver stripes), Alloy (Satin Silver or Tungsten), Vista Blue (Performance White or Tungsten), Performance White (available with Vista Blue or Tungsten stripes), Tungsten Grey (Satin Silver), Valencia (Tungsten) and Ebony (Performance White or Tungsten stripes)." I want to paint my classic 68 with a new ford mustang color but can't seem to find the codes or even pics anywhere. Have to make a decision on the painting tomorrow! Help please if possilbe. Thanks.
I think you got all the colours. Grabber Orange might have been added also. I don't know the codes, sorry.
I have been trying to see a sample of "Alloy." My dealer hasn't been much help yet. According to Ford SVT "Alloy is very dark and very metallic, almost a cross between metallic black and pewter." Anyone have anything further on this color?
Wow, alloy sounds good then! I guessed it would be almost silver, but would prefer darker as you described.
After talking to Ford SVT (by the way they now answer the phone "Ford Performance"), I ordered Alloy with Satin Silver stripes sight unseen. If I don't like it you might see it in the classifieds.
It must be pretty dark if the stripes are silver. I was thinking of tungsten with silver stripes. It would be nice to know the difference between this and alloy. It sounds pretty good though. Good luck!
Interestingly, the order codes indicate that you can get Alloy with Tungsten stripes, but only if you order the red accent interior. Therefore, Alloy must be relatively dark. Before I found out Alloy was this dark, Tungsten/Silver had been my first choice. Tungsten should have an Eleanor look. Too bad they aren't offering black stripes. I don't think either are traditional Shelby colors, but they should look good.
Hmm, I just changed my colour choice to alloy with tungsten stripes and a red interior. Thanks for the info.
