    Do you have a general rule for the savings in hp & torque vs weight as the price for carbon fiber is exponential too (lol). Is a complete steel driveshaft buying everything from scratch including u-joints, yolks, etc. about $350-$400? If that's true, the carbon fiber is about 3 times that (~$1,200). Thus one would hope for a substantial performance gain before making that purchase.

    aluminum
