69 GT500 Smog Pump

    It's starting to rattle....and loudly. Probably the bearings going out, but maybe it's the vanes inside. I guess I could remove the inside vane assembly and see if that cures it. Can anyone recommend a place to have this air pump inspected and rebuilt?

    Thanks, I'll give Winston a call. Also, I'd like to leave you the car some day and have you go through it for originality. It's pretty much all numbers matching as far as I can tell. Your name has come up more than once in Shelby circles so I know I can rely on your assessment. I'll be in touch.
