Help on a car financing question (not specific to Shelby)

Discussion in 'Shelby Mustang List' started by Tom Casperson, Apr 17, 2006.

  1. Last year I purchased a 1981 Corvette from my father-in-law to help him out with a cash flow problem he had with his business. Now that he is back on his feet he is ready to buy the car back. My question is can anyone recomend a classic car auto financing company? His credit should be so-so after this past year if that helps point him towards a particular company.

    Thanks,

    Tom

  3. another option is for you to carry the paper on it. you can draft a contract
and have him give you the payments. with a legal contract and intrest
charged you can report to a credit agency just like any finance company.

not sure if you would want to deal with it but just an idea
