    Hello All,
Can somebody help me with the correct part # for a 69 Shelby Rear Mount
    antenna.
I've seen & heard so many things,I'm not sure what's what.My car had a power
operated antenna on it also. Was that a"Shelby Option" Or Not?
I've heard of different bases & Pineapple shaped tips & so on.Need some
    input!
    Thanks Jack

  2. The original correct antenna is marked on the base with PM300 . It was
also used on some GM and mopar applications. It has a screw on lead that
goes to the radio. The power antenna was not a option on a Shelby,it is
one of several over the counter replacement antenna used over the
years. the bases on the PM300 used a unique nut for the base and that is
what I think you are referring to. the pear shaped tip was used on
earlier cars and the round tip was used on later cars.
there is a Ebay auction on #4634288558 that has the correct hardware.
The seller found a stash of the P300 antenna's and list's them
occasionally ,you can buy one from him.Hope this helps. Bob G.

  3. I meant to say PM300 was marked on the antenna shaft seen on the
    trunkside of the antenna. BG
