Speed Bumps, ugh !

  1. Bob,
Our technique too reduce the speed bumps at school, was a less subtle. We
    poured
gasoline on the top of the asphalt "header bangers." Then.. one match. Of
    course, now
that I have matured and become a model citizen, I cannot recommend such a
    simple
    solution.

If all else fails you can trim them down yourself. When I was in high school
they added speed bumps to the parking lot. many of the hot rodders with
lower cars had a problem with them. We put the rear wheels on the high spot and
power jacked the car and spun the tires. After a couple of weeks they were not
    so high anymore.

While that is true, I have no problem suggeting somewhat militant actions against overly aggressive HOAs. They usually start out ad good, well intentioned groups and sometimes progress into control freaks. Hiring a lawyer to deliver papers if they act unreasonable is a good thing to do.
