Bob, Our technique too reduce the speed bumps at school, was a less subtle. We poured gasoline on the top of the asphalt "header bangers." Then.. one match. Of course, now that I have matured and become a model citizen, I cannot recommend such a simple solution. While that is true, I have no problem suggeting somewhat militant actions against overly aggressive HOAs. They usually start out ad good, well intentioned groups and sometimes progress into control freaks. Hiring a lawyer to deliver papers if they act unreasonable is a good thing to do.
