  2. Glenn , you can purchase the ASSEMBLY LINE manual "set" for 1967 .Don't
confuse this set with the single "shop " manual . The assembly line
manuel set that has been reprinted and sold through the larger Mustang
parts venders like Virginia,Branda or NPD is more specific to
Mustangs. In the different manuals they show large illustrations of
engine pulleys ,brackets , vac. line routing diagrams ,wiring routing ,
heater hose routing etc. There is a set for every year from 65 to 70.
They are a MUST if you are unfamiliar with your installation, and as far
as I am concerned even if you are familiar. Everyone who restores
Mustangs or Shelby's should have a set in their library of reference. I
have all the year sets because my interest is in 65 to 70 Shelby's. I
learn something new every time I look at one and I have been working
with the cars for years. Good luck with your project.Bob G.

Glenn, I'll add my concurrence to what Bob says about the Assembly Manuals. They're available because a guy by the name of Jim Osborne (who is no longer with us) was persistent enough with Ford a few years back and bought the rights to re-produce the drawings. They're available directly from Osborne Productions in Lawrenceville, GA.
Another pub that will be invaluable along with the assy. manuals is Max Koslowski's (AMK) Ford Fastener catalog. AMK produces all the kits that are available from most of the Mustang (Oops! Is it legal to print the word "Mustang" now?) vendors. The assy manuals list the various hardware by p/n and, with Max's catalog, you can determine what is required.
    Regards, Stan

Agree with both Bob and Stan but I must throw a little caution in the mix. As with every human product everything has its limitations. The Assembly Manuals do include mistakes or things that were later changed (every page was produced to show a change, identify a new process/part or correct an earlier mistake on the page being replaced. As well with the Hardware & Utility Guides (what Max's book is based on) they identify the type and size of the hardware identified by the part number but does not identify little things like the correct markings on the heads that are different from one plant to another.

But agree both are great starts for your needs
