Has anyone put a finned aluminum oil pan on their 68 model shelby? How did it work out? The theoretical advanatage of a bigger oil pan is that you don't run out of oil to pump when at high rpms so I thought I would try it out. It is heavier than the stock steel pan, we got it in and they did not scrimp on the aluminum.

Should fit without any problems. I have seen many with the T-pans on them.

You are right, the T Pan fit. The RAT's guys got it in with a bit of work. Fits nice, does not hang down too far, looks good. Holds a bit more oil. The did put a windage shield in before putting it on.
