    the shelby registry lists cars by serial and last known owners. the saac
    registrar for the specific year/series car would have more current info than
    what was printed in 1997 . a call to saac, or email to the registrar might
    turn up a lead should saac choose to be helpful in that regard. some owners
    do not want their names released, but no better source if all that is known
    is the serial number. bill, coldtown motown.

    Tracking a car

    I had an e mail from a guy who wants to find his dad's old shelby - He knows
    the VIN number but has no clue how to find the car. Neither do I. Here is a
    "outpost" that I e mailed him back. If anyone has any ideas please let me
    know.
