Hey Group...Would like some thoughts on the 67 Red
GT500 that just sold on ebay (#120000815502) It was a
no reserve car and it ended up selling for a shade
over 100K. It looks like the buyer ended up getting
a heck of a deal judging by the pictures. Anybody on
the list farmilar with the car? Thanks John.

    Dan:
I am sure you will hear from others, but Jim Elsmore, a member of this list,
has already very recently commented on the Shelby. I read the E-Bay posting
and it seemed to answer most questions. This was not a concours car and was
not represented as such. It would need some expensive items to bring it up
to snuff plus, it is a color change Shelby. IMHO, that was a fair price for
a driver quality Shelby and reflects the fact that only top grade Shelbys
    command top grade money.
    My $.02 worth.

What is top grade money now for any of them Ron. Ofcourse the concours
will aways fetch todays big money. But I can't imagine the 67 just shy
over 100k... to me that is inexpensive. We shall see butt the vehicles
are certainly in my opinion revving up for another upward correction due
to high auction prices on the Hemi's and others. Anyway I am happy to
hear the SAAC 31 was a big success and everyone had fun. Maybe next year
.. Happy 4th of July everyone.

The car was a good buy at 100K
A dealer from Minnesota purchased the car.
Lots to correct but plenty of room to make it right.
