    Ron Robertson
    Shelby Mustang Group,

Missed some of you guys & gals @ SAAC 31. BEST location, we have seen.

Our Show display trailer was close to the action. We parked near the Sponsors
displays. Ford Racing, Shelby American, The Shelby Collection, and Orlando
Classic Mustang were between the pits and Tech Inspect area.

Ann & I were glad to put faces with many Shelby List Members. Let's see how
    many
    we can remember.

Stan & Peggy Simm, Well actually - Peggy was shopping in Danville.

Jim13 Showed up with pictures of soon-to-be urban legend 2007 Hertz
    (serial # 13)

Bob Gaines, Spent most of weekend under cars, judging

Olaf Herrick, Brought a couple of cars, including 70 Coral Boss 302, 4 sale

Cevon & Son, I don't think he was racing, as spending most time in a Shelby
    golf cart.

Dan Wilcox & his wife, enjoyed meeting them, after knowing only by email!

Colin Comer, His trailer was present, but did not get to meet, as he was
    busy burning
    fossil fuels.

    Lee Mathias ? Missing

Nothing like a SAAC convention, to bring out the Cobras, Ford GT's GT 40's,
    Sunbeam Tigers & Shelbys.

Robert Malke, from Largo, Florida drove up with "Tweety", ( X-employee of
Mr Shelby), who painted the race cars. He is looking his age and not mobile.
Still has some good stories to repeat, about the good ole days.

Man, was it hot! Still 5-10 degrees lower than Orlando. Many thanks to the
    Rick Kopec
crew, for organizing Viginia Interl Raceway as the 31st SAAC location. I
    have attended
many events thoughout the country. This has to rank in the top for many
    reasons. I hope
we see SAAC back within a couple of years.

Sorry, for the guys who couldn't take take off and make the trip.

Pete, I was busy enough that I never got over to your trailer. We had the
old '68 there doing track stuff all weekend. I was the person acting like
a traffic cop at your corner during the first day of the lunch time parade
laps if anyone happened to notice.

Here is a link to my quit write-up and a link to about 100 or so pictures
    from the weekend:

I have to assume that Lee was not there either. Several of the locals had
wanted to see him, but I didn't hear from anyone that he did.

I thought the turn out was great with very good quality.

I was hopeing that others felt the same way. I thought it was one of the
best I had been to, but it was also the closest to home and what has sort
of become my home track. I wanted the turnout to be good enough that SAAC
would want to come back again. From what others have said there are good
    chances of that happening.

Agreed, it was a great time, here

Let me second Pete here. Was great to see some of you all in person.
Didn't get to see enough, but it was a fun show, loved VIR, I'd vote for it
again. Lot's of great cars there, seemed like more than other shows we've
    attended.

Great show all around! This was my 6th SAAC convention and probably one of
the best ones I have seen. Tons of cars. Was nice to put faces with some of
the names on the Shelby list. Was especially nice to meet Pete and his
    lovely wife Ann.
