Just wanted to kickstart this process. I am restoring a 67 GT350, # 1471 and I am sure that I will have LOTS of questions. One is about the distributor. Is a C50Z-12127-E correct for this car? The aluminum tag bears the # 8M07/C50F/12127. Any help out there? Thanks a million. I have watched this site often and do enjoy it. Now I have a reason to get involved!

Welcome vinstang-- I can positively tell you the registry says the correct # for your distributor is C5OF-12127-E. I will let the more knowledgable explain the differance between the 4th character. Good Luck, Len

    Hi Vinstang

Looks like by the part number your dizy is a Motorcraft one which would be a replacement over the counter dizy, not an Autolite .

    Good luck with the resto.
