    I found it the other day and thought it was great as well. Some people on the Shelby email list don't like the marketing direction, and they might have a point, but I enjoyed the commercial. Even if I wasn't sure who Kelly Clarkson was.

    very cool commercial. Kelly Clarkson looks great and was the most successful "American Idol" contestant the show ever had. I wonder how much of it will actually air....

    Why make a commercial for the GT500? :confused:

    Ford builds cars like all of ours for reasons of corporate image. The reason got going to Shelby in 1964 was to build a racing image for the Mustang which was getting an image as a secretary's car (think of who typically bought a 260 2v coupe in '64).

    Hot girl in a cool car...it sells.....
    would you rather use a Contour, or a F150???

    would not be the same...

    Gotta get Ford's moneys worth out of CS's image.....
