[Shelbymustang] Radiator paint

    My radiator on the KR just died; having it recored but told the radiator guy
    NOT to paint it. I need to know what kind of black paint was used on 428 KR
    engines. 60 degree black? Help

    Thin coat of black lacquer

    Eastwood (if you choose to use them) sells a black like that for that
    particular purpose

    I just ordered some of the Eastwood stuff to paint an original 66
    radiator I just had recored. Hope to have it painted in the next week
    or two, I can let you know how it turns out if you like.

    I agree with Jeff, I recently had my original radiator redone, and I used
    Eastwood radiator paint. They offer 2 different black finishes, the glossier
    black is the correct one. They say that you should use 2 cans, but I did mine with
    one.

    Any interest in a 69 GT350 4 speed car? It's candy apple red, low miles, very original, with two sets of wheels. Thinking mid 60s price range.
