It was hot yesterday when I took my 68 gt350 for a ride. One hundred four degrees air temp. My temp gauge stayed in the hot zone, just a little left of the line. Given the outside air temp, this seemed ok to me, especially since I was in traffic for about twenty minutes.

Does this seem normal to you guys?

I have been running a little hot when it was only in the outside temps were 80 -90 degree range, and had RATS replace the clutch fan with a direct drive fan to keep the engine cooler. Yesterday was the first day with the new fan.

Ford temp. gauges are known for showing a engine in the hot zone. I like to know how hot it really is. If you don't have access to a infa-red thermometer come up to the big town of Anna. About a 30 min. drive from Dallas. We will see how hot it really is.
