But I'm new, so be gentle with me...

I'm a SAAC member and am familiar with the registry, but I don't know what a Marti report is. Please enlighten me.

    Thanks,
    Deborah

GOOD PART......all the ford records pertaining to everything about every car they made... are retained by a fellow named Kevin Marti..(they know every detail of every ford made)
Bad Part.... forget about it.. it only starts in 67-68.. everything before that was chucked into the wind.

    Re: Stupid Question...

    Hi,
Howard has original invoices, shipping specs., orders from
dealers etc. on most 65's. I ordered and got copies of all
these documents as well as a certificate that my Ford #
match the Shelby#. Well worth the money. SAAC and Howard
does an excellent job with this stuff. Without them, we wouldn't
know half of what we know today about these great cars.
I have been a member since 1977 and plan to continue to be
one until they carry me out with my feet first.
    Good luck,
    Texas Swede owner of 5S275

    Re: Stupid Question...

I recently ordered a Marti Report on line ( the $45.00 deluxe version ) and
was quite pleased with what was provided. It came in color and had a lot of interesting items of information concerning my car. Being it was a 1967
Shelby, the process took just about a month to get. Well worth it, I believe.

    Hi,

Would Mr.Pardee have information on other 1965 Mustangs or just Shelby's?
Can someone post his e-mail address?

    Thanks.

    Rudy

Don't take this as gospel Rudy, but I would think that it's only Shelby mustangs.
Howard is the registrar for 65 & 66. I emailed him the other day and he sent back info on what he has on my car. It was cool, he has copies of warranty work orders from repairs that my Dad had told me about.

    Here' his address:

    Hi again Rudy,

I realized after re-reading this thread that I had not mentioned that Howard Pardee is the 65 & 66 registrar for the Shelby Registry, and is a high mucky-muck in SAAC.

Howard Pardee is now one of the Directors of SAAC. This was done to conform SAAC's business plan to modern operation standards.
Howard is a great guy. Very helpful and quite knowledgeful.

No insult intended, I just didn't know what Howards position is. He has been very prompt and helpful.:)

    Re: Stupid Question...

    Greetings!

I contacted Howard and his information is only for Shelbys and
nothing more. Regardless, I think that's great. At least someone has
the needed information on the Shelby Mustang - the greatest car to roam
    the earth!

    Rudy:)
