Depends what you want them for. Bang for the buck, KYB. Better choice but pricey, Koni. Originals are near extinct, no need unless you are going show.
For 100 to 150 the KYB's are a nice shock. I run them on all my cars. Are there better shocks, sure. But if your not running your car at the track I don't see spending the extra bucks. Every Mustang parts supplier has them.
The adjustable ( 3 positions ) Gabrials are still available thru some of the venders like Branda. Koni's are a great choice installed right out of the box. Kind of pricey, but worth it. shlby66
Thanks all,the venders around my area all say ' Except Shelby ' . Is there a diff. shock for a big block, or are they all the same ? At this point I'm leaning toward the KYB gas - a -just, I do cruise nights , but not shows.--- Thanks again ---S.
As far as physically fitting, no difference, same as Mustang. Originals were equpped with a HD shock (front adjustables) made by Gabriel that were different than standard Mustang shocks. You'll be fine with the KYB
seaweed, I am currently on the same quest right now. Don't wast time on Branda, Perkins, Shelby parts, KAR, Etc. These things are going to be very hard to run down but I'm working on it. What is the Exact vehicle you are seeking these shocks for? If you are looking for correct shocks your options are limited. I have some details, please let me know. If you do manage to find more than one set let me know I will offer a finders fee. Thanks Bill
