    Hi,
I subscribed to this site to further familiarize myself with Shelby's and to find out if there are any niche type parts for the Shelby that I may be able to make that no one else makes. I presently hand make premium grade kickdown rods for Mustangs, Shelby's and Cougars, 69-73 year models and I've found that no one else makes kickdown rods for these cars other than the 69 428 CJ and Shelby GT500 which uses the same rod. I have made custom kickdown rods for Mustangers with modified engine/manifold setups requiring a different rod than the stock one to obtain auto trans kickdown-ability. I also make throttle cable brackets for the CJ, transmission filler tubes and any other part(the list grows) that is not made or not made satisfactorily (IMHO) that needs some quality upgrading in some way or another.
I have restored several Mustangs and a Sunbeam Tiger in my past and so am not new to "knuckle cracking" and wrench turning by any means.
    Regards
    John

    John,

Do you make a lockout rod for the 70 Boss 302's? If not maybe you should consider it. I don't think they are being repoed.
