Hi, I recently dicsovered this forum and it's right up my alley. I own a variety of unusal cars. Some i'm sure most of you are familiar with while other's have devloped an undeserved negative stigma. But if your into anti-social statements my Griffith with 289 hipo and trips will really wake up a graveyard! Anyone else out there with a Griffith please get in touch. Anyway I also own other FOMOCO products and I'm hoping that this Forum will educate me and others to Ford motor co's rich performance history. Thanks
Let me guess,........ you live near me?? you are friends with Bob Goldschmidt?? and you have an unpainted Cobra??
Hi Dave So Dave, HOW YOU DOING, Its me Bob, just saw your sincere welcome. Did you find a 65 yet? This is my buddies computor, the one you met at VIR, so I'm sure he won't mind me saying hello. Good god his Cobra runs like a bat out of hell with nuclear warheads for power! What a blast. Of course the Griffith's aren't far behind. Anyway, I'll be in touch soon.B)
Welcome. At a recent car show, a bunch of us were talking about Griffith's, seems that nobody in our group has ever even seen one. I would really like to see some photos. Bill
GRIFFITH + 289 + trips = A REAL RUSH Enclosed you will find some Griffith photo's. I'm astounded that they seem to have very little regonition. There the best buy on the market. Unfortunatly they have gotten a negative reputation over the years due to articles that seemed to cast a question about their handling. Rest assured that any car with their power to weight ratio can get you into trouble real fast. But so does a 427 Cobra and everyone wants one. Griffiths never had the research & development to really make the car equall to it's competition. Overall they will hold their own against almost everything. Hope you enjoy the photos. Chris
