I picked up an Shelby Charger last week. It is in need of a restoration, but runs and drives. Has a severe thumping in the suspension which I am going to look at later today. I have liked these cars for a long time, now I get to enjoy one! Shawn
that actually was my first Shelby as well!! Had a Black Shelby Turbo Charger Grey interior. very fast car surprised many folks. I only had it a few months and sold it to a friend.
Welcome to the forum, and congrats on your Shelby.. As far as the thumping noise on the front end, it could be several things. Bad lower ball joints, worn out lower A-arm bushings, worn upper strut bearing/bushing, or a bad CV joint. I certain there are some things I left out that someone else will mention. Anyway, I hope the problems you find don't cost ya too much, and have fun with your new purchase..
