    Hello Everyone

I have a very small coolant leak that is spraying in the swaybar and under the alternator.

Leak is not coming from the hoses and they appear to be tight.
The motor has been completely rebuilt but I'm thinking that becuase the coolant is spraying, the water pump is faulty. On a 428, is there a sneak peek hole that coolant drips from when the pump is faulty (like the Cleveland motor's).

    Any other suggestions?

    Thanks is advance.

    Rohan

yes there is a weep hole in the same spot that allows coolant to come out when the pump is NO GOOD!! sounds like you need a new water pump!! check the date code on yours as you may want to get that one rebuilt if it is the original. you can also take some weight off the front end and put an aluminum one on!!

Yep, took the tension off the belts and the water pump has quite a bit of play!!

Bummer, all has been rebuilt!! Must have been a dodgy pump.

Looks like it will be a sh!t of a job too with the air.

    Thanks for the reply David.
