We got one about a year ago. Decided on a 20' instead of the more popular 24'. Nothing fancy just a base trailer with beavertail and side door. Will hold a 66 or 68 with no problem.
I had a 20 footer built. "V" nose, side door, beaver tail, but it's same height as our pickup, 5' 4" inside . had it built lower so your not pushing so much wind. So it's not as high as the std. trailers. pulls super.
A 20'er allows for a car and enough room in the nose of the trailer for tires, tools, etc. A good suggestion is if your ordering a trailer, get one with the door on the driver's side, so you can open your door of the car easily, instead of climbing in the driver's door window like Bo and Luke Duke, like I do! I have a Pace Rally, a great trailer.
I have a 20' Featherlight with a V nose and it has been fine till I decided to do some track events. Now I have all this crap piled on the floor in front of the car. My next move will be to a 24' with some cabinets etc. A 20' is fine unless you want to carry a bunch of stuff.
I have both a 20' and a 24'. make sure you get a car trailer with a beaver tail. My 20' was a cargo trailer that I made into a car trailer and doesn't have a beaver tail and it makes the cars that are low to the ground hard to load. As far as the 36" door, my 24' has one but its really to high to do any good unless you have a pickup in the trailer.
