Was wondering if any of you could shed some light on the rumor that Carroll Shelby and Ford are working on a GT-350 and GT-500 based on the new 2005 Mustang GT? Would really be a nice car and a great addition to the Shelby "stable." I am planning to buy a 2005 GT....might as well make it a GT-350 if they are available. Thanks for the help. Cheers, Mike Selva
Mike-There was an article in the latest issue of AUTOWEEK about SVT and the release of the 2007 Mustang Cobra in late 2006. Just MHO, but you can bet that Ford will not let the GT-350 come out before they get a chance to get some hefty sales of their estimated $40K SVT cash cow! Look for the GT-350 to be a hyper-viper version in order to get some more $$$$$ from us.
