Re: New to forum from South Mississippi I'm having problems with fuel supply to carb at the end of the 1/4 and wonder if I can use the Holley electric pump I have in place of the stepped mechanical pump on it now. It dies and acts like it ran out of gas and I have to grind on the starter to get it to restart after my burn out at the starting line.
I run the Holley Electric Blue on a few cars. Comes with the pressure regulator set at 7-9 psi. Are you sure lack of fuel because of the pump is the problem?
I think that this is Judd's question. I qouted from Comet Central Forums. I responded by suggesting this site. Then he gave these details. He also added this info on his car. Good luck JUDD. Here is a picture of his car.
Could be a lack of volume and not a pressure issue. What size lines are you running from the tank to up front? Stock may not be able to supply enough volume.
