Four 2006 Black and Gold Shelby GT-H "Hertz Cars" were offered and sold on November 17th at the Manheim Auto Auction in Manheim, PA. This is a dealer only auction and not open to the general public. These prices should therefore be regarded as "dealer wholesale".

These GT-H's are among the first to be retired from rental service. All had the standard Hertz equipment. Specific serial number information was not available. Sale prices appeared to be driven principally by mileage:
    3936 Miles $90,000
    4185 Miles $79,500
    5598 Miles $72,500
    5769 Miles $68,000

This is the first indication of resale performance for the modern "Hertz Car". Quite a contrast to 1967 when Ford could hardly give the original '66 GT350H's away!

It looks like it's the $90K car reported in the first post. I hope it doesn't get even close to that mark.

I would be shocked if this guy makes money on this car, but who knows I guess it could happen. At least this car had its modifications performed in the Shelby facility.

Here is the Ebay sellers response as to why the original ad was pulled.
"This car was originally listed on November 18th, on November 22nd Ford Motor Co./Shelby Automobiles pulled the listing to verify the information contained in the listing. After Ford Motor Co. /Shelby Automobiles reviewed the information we were able to re-list the car on November 22nd as all the facts and information in our listing have been verified and substantiated. People do not buy cars and sell for a loss that fast. that is why eBay has a Reserve optional to sellers.
