Where did Shelby get the headlight retaining rings for the 67s?? 60 or 61 Galaxie? E-bay has them for 61 Galaxie but haven't seen any for 60 Galaxie. I need a pair for my GT350. I seem to remember hearing they used them from 1960 Galaxies. Does anyone have a Ford part number for them? Thanks for the help!! Brian

It's my understanding that they used them from the 1960 Ford only. And, on early cars like mine (#0036) they must have been using something custom made - headlight mounting bucket wise. If you ever get a chance to see an original early car, check out the mounting.

    houlis,

If you are referring to the headlamp retaining rings; they are nothing special,
that is if you don't have a very early '67 Shelby. In that case, you are on your own. However, later '67 Shelbys used a rather common headlamp
retaining ring: Ford part# D3TZ-13015-A. It was used on a number of Fords during that time. You should be able to get them NOS Ford for about $18.00
or so eac. Repo's about $10.00 each. Check with your favorite venders.
