    Mornin' All,

I'm having a spot of bother trying to get hold of a connector. It's one of the small holes (perhaps 3/8") at the firewall end of the Cobra hi-rise intake manifold on a '67 GT350. As I understand it, there's one hole for the brake booster vacuum hose, and the other (and this is the one I need) for the Pollution Control Valve. I've just ordered a kit from NPD for the brake booster hole, which I hope contains the connector...but the other one is still alluding me.

Any (polite) suggestions where I might lay my hands on something to fit?

    Thanks in advance.

    James.

I assume that this is what you are trying to reproduce.

The straight in PCV connection should be the same as used other years. Try contacting Jim Cowles at Shelby Parts and Restorations

Thanks for the picture and advice. The picture especially makes things a little clearer.

I'm glad somebody has posted photos. I think you are asking about the fitting on the right side-to the PCV valve. You might try at a hardware store that has a good selection of brass fittings. The only problem is that, I have no idea if the brass fitting in the U.K. would have the same threads as the American fittings Shelby/Ford used.
I also want to add that my early 67' Gt 350 (has a SM1S manifold) and there is a very slight increase in the angle of the port for this fitting. It takes less hose, and doesn't have those two threaded holes above the manifold runned these two fitting go into.
