I have put the 66gt up for sale a few time at low points in my life but never went through with it. like the time my fiance was in a serious car accident and we had just bought a house together in anticipation of the upcoming wedding. we were in a major financial crunch and did not want to loose the house. I put the car for sale within a year of doing a body apart type restification including a $3800 paint job. I was asking $16000 at the time and the first guy that came to see it scratched his fat belly and told me that he will keep my number and call me back when I 'get reasonable'. I told him not to bother calling and withdrew the ad. we broke up a year later (her call) and she got about $5 mill shortly after....but hey, I still have my car. bob
