Re: rolling the fender edge on front tires

  1. The "old baseball bat" method has been used for years.

    With the wheel faced straight (in the case of the front wheels) have a baseball bat inserted between the tire and the fender (addition weight may be placed creating downforce) Roll the car forward or rearward (which ever way the bat is inserted) and the the bat will roll the fender over in a farily uniform pattern. Repeat additional times if needed.

    Yo can as an extra finish item insert a formed 1/8 or 1/4" round channel pice of steel to form a rounded bead instead of the flatten bead along the edge

    fender with no damage to fit wider tires on my '68?
