1976 Mustang II Cobra II brochure & ads

On Ebay there are people selling the ad or the brochure. Apparently this was the Cobra II invented by Jim Wangers, he of Pontiac GTO fame. I haven't bought the ad or the brochure but was wondering if the
picture of Carroll Shelby is a picture or a painting and if he is quoted as saying anything about the Cobra II or is there just a paragraph or two saying who Carroll Shelby is?
Also wasn't this when Shelby was off in Africa? I was wondering if he knew that Ford was using his image to sell a car back in the States?

I found Jim Wangers address in Oceanside CA and wrote him but haven't heard back yet. He wrote a couple of excellent books on the Musclecar wars, but of course they were mostly about Pontiac.
