Were the insides of the scoops blacked out or body color on a 67 Shelby? If so, would it only be done on lighter color cars? My car is red.
    thanks
    Jon

    My '67 G.T.500 is #330. Nightmist blue and ...

it appears to be blacked out. Could be just the early cars. I don't know for sure but I know that you came to the right place. The expertise on this forum is incredible.

My early car, #0036, had them blacked out. Anyway, never got any points off in numerous Concours entries with it.

My repaint is not blacked out, would the black be a flat or semi gloss black? Anyone have a good photo?
    Thanks!

Yes all 67's should be blacked out to be concour correct. All body color would receive a point's deduction in SAAC concour judging. A low gloss or flat black is a good choice.
