2007 Shelby GT500 Wreaks, Up 4 Auction.

    Hey Guys,
    Ive been watching the Auction Sites for a wreaked 2007 shelby. Found this one but its hurt too bad for me. Any Brave people?..This wont be cheap should bring 20K or more..This one is in Anaheim CA....You cant see the car with being a dealer. I can bid on it, but you would have to pick it up in CA. You would have to pay for it in advance, before seeing it. No ifs, ands or buts. A deposit of 5000.00 paypal, balance on winning the auction. Paypal $$ returned if you dont win the car..I have ebay history of 150 or so. perfect.
    Im located in maryland and I will charge $1000, if you are the winning bidder.
    Just some food for thought. Kevin..

    I wander why the Drive Train was removed. The Inner Structure Damage does NOT look that bad.

    Thats what I thought. Maybe the subframe took a hit..This guy lost his tail if he over paid. Insurance will only pay the sticker price. The extra 20K you paid, you lost..Even if it was someone else that hit you!..Good things come to those that wait...like paying Sticker Price..!

    I am a licensed dealer also and that car in that condition will not do $20k IMHO.Looks as though even the doors dont close properly.Whats it worth fixed?? 30K with a salvage title?? It will cost more than 10K to put it together.Id say 13-15K

    Actually, the damage in not that bad. It looks like it went under the back of a Pick Up Truck because the Bumper Support is not touched, (they bend easy) and the doors look fine as well. The windows drop about 1/2 inch the second you pull the door handle, so if you look at the glass, the doors must have been opened when they removed the battery so the windows would not go back up when the doors were closed. This would be a great car for a Body Shop owner or someone who does body work for a living.

    Yes,
    I think both are right. 10K should fix it. But, alot of parts will have to come from Ford. Shelby only parts. Some are standard 05-07 mustang. But you will have alot of people who HAVE to have it..The prices are still 5K above sticker..So..this will bring 5K more than its worth..A local shop will buy it. No shipping or anything like that..

    I should show you the GT40 that ran over a curb!..does not look bad until you see the bottom!..

    Actually there is a company producing a complete Shelby Cobra GT 500 Body Kit for about $3,000.00
