   Hey there, can anyone tell me, the color of the engine compartment on a 65 shelby? was it gloss black or more of a satan black? Also, on a 65 shelby, the engine was black, the 66 was blue, what shade of black?

   The under hood color was satin black, a semi-gloss. The engines were gloss black. What number 65 do you have?
