Maybe Ford Motor Company should start thinking OUTSIDE the Box again, because what ever they are doing now is not working. Dropping to number 4 again…… with Toyota jumping to number 2. I also think that Ford should hire people to randomly go around the country and try to buy a new Ford Vehicle to see what is really going on. They should start here in Tallahassee Florida first. I have yet to meet anyone, in the last 5 years, who will say that they had a good experience dealing with our Dealership. Most told me that they walked out and refuse to ever go back, several have switched to GM because of the way our Dealership treated them, many refuse to use there Service Department and the few that I know that DID buy a new Vehicle from them regret it and will never go there again. Another problem that Ford should address is the “Additional Dealer Profit” Mark Ups that the Dealerships add and the Sales Scams that they do. There is a lot more that Ford Motor Company should look into about the Dealerships but I don’t want to write a whole book about it right now......

I agree Ford should have a team that goes to each dealership and go thru the buying proess. Ford should also do away wih dealers markng up there cars. The dealers represent Ford and it is making Ford look bad.

I agree with you 100%. I think the dealers are a big facture why Ford is loosing money. I recently went to one of the local ford dealers here and they had a new GT500 on the floor with a price of 69K on it and when I asked what the sticker price was the salesman just said it was all about how much money they can get. I think the Ford dealers have really gotten sleazy in the past 5 years.

We are buying a new car next week for the wife and have decided to buy a Toyota product and a big part of this decision is because of the dealer experience.
