I have learned from Howard Pardee at SAAC that my '65 GT350, SFM5006, was displayed by Shelby American at the '65 Philadelphia Auto Show and also at the SCCA National Convention at the Sheraton - Philadelphia. Both were held during February 1965. Does anyone have any snapshots, literature or information from from either of these events?

WHOA, I would dig DEEP for those photos.

I would check with the Philadelphia Inquirer, (Philly.com : Philadelphia local news, sports, jobs, cars, homes) I would be willing to bet in their archives they have photos galore from that show. I am sure it was the big event in town at the time and covered by the paper.

Thaks for the suggestion Mike. I logged onto the Inquirer's website - they have articles listed online back only to 1981. So, it looks like I have a trip in store to "Philly" for a visit to what newspapers call their "morgue", to do some manual searching!
