Redoing the brakes on my '66 and would like to know the following:
The dust shield and the caliper mounting brackets appear to only be done in primer and never painted. Is this correct or what should the correct finish be?

    Thanks Dominic

Caliper mounts would have been bare cast steel (light finish than the spindles) and the shields semi-gloss black. Normally dipped
