    Hi all,

I've been lurking for a while and thought I would post to the barn find thread. I love all cars, prewar classics, 50s, 60s musclecars, and traditional rods. Bought my first Shelby in 1989 (which I still have) as well another back in 2000. In the musclecar area I'm partial to cobrajet cars.

    regards,

    A.J.

no I'm not....A few years back we met the guys who ran the Ct cougar club at a show, was talking to them, they seemed nice UNTIL they asked me and my brother what we had...We told them a 428 SCJ Eliminator, 351 Eliminator, the 68 big block XR7GT, and the Mustangs, they rolled their eyes like we were Bullsh-ting...we said ok and walked away....I brought the SCJ car to one of thier shows after that and only 1 person talked to me...I walked away from the car to look around and everyone went to check out my car and when I walked back the crowd was gone....The guys from SAACNE are just so much nicer and I don't bring the car to the cougar shows anymore....it may have changed by now but I just join the shelby clubs....I'll post some pics if you want.....

    Dave,
I'm very sorry to hear about your experience. Yes, I'd love to see photos of your cats!

BTW, my local club is co-hosting a 40th for the Cougar at the Carlisle All-Ford Nats. We'd love to see any of your Cougars there. We're a friendly bunch, newcomers are always welcome. More information is available here:

    Mid-Atlantic Prowl IV

    Take care,

    Jim

    Wow, sweet ride!

Be sure to come by the Cougar club tent and say hello in Carlisle. We'll be located next to building "P".

It looks very much like the cover car from the Chris Halla "Cougar" book.
