Pete I have a friend in town here in KC that is a original owner of a 69 GT350 that still has his car. He said that he discovered the covers in his glove box shortly after taking delivery of his car in late 69 . He said he transfered them to the trunk because it didn't leave any room for anything else in the glovebox when they were stored there. I have heard similar stories but that was a first hand account.
